Job Summary
This role serves as a key strategic resource to guide the direction and priorities of the Commodity Risk Department while managing staff resources.
The successful candidate will oversee the implementation of an Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) system to ensure accurate risk reporting for the Energy Risk Management Committee.
The position requires direct supervision of risk management staff involved in measuring, monitoring, and reporting commodity risks across ATCO's lines of business.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
7-10 years risk management experience
People management in professional environment
Understanding of Alberta power markets
Commodity risk reporting and analysis
Development of risk policies and procedures
Nice-to-have
Hands-on ETRM system configuration experience
Experience in Electricity or Natural Gas industries
Knowledge of real option theory application
Ability to lead complex quantitative models
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, mathematics, economics, statistics, engineering, or accounting
Minimum 7-10 years of related experience in risk management
Proven people management experience in a professional environment
Security Clearance Check required for final candidates
