Job Summary

  • Responsible for accurately registering patients in EMR including validating patient information, verification of insurance coverage, collection of required payments and ensuring the patient's experience is best in class.
  • Works closely with physicians, nurse practitioners and nursing staff to ensure timely referrals and facilitates patient access to information including MyChart.
  • Maintains knowledge of health plans and manages cash in accordance with policies to ensure accurate crediting of payments and secure cash handling.
