Job Summary
The Veterinary Care Technician - Urgent Care - provides high level patient care in a fast-paced, high patient load, 7 day/week, 365-day/year veterinary practice facility.
The position requires detailed knowledge of biological parameters and value interpretation, ICU protocols, restraint techniques, ability to triage and take action in emergent situations as well as the ability to acquire vitals and monitoring hospitalized patients for changing needs.
Technicians are expected to mentor and train new employees and participate in regular continuing education to maintain required state licensing.
