Provide direct nursing care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards.
Administer medications, transcribe physician orders, and chart nurses' notes in an informative and descriptive manner reflecting care provided and resident response.
Participate in staff development, safety and sanitation monitoring, and equipment and supply management to ensure quality care and a safe environment.
