Job Summary

  • Conducts well planned, organized and relevant competency-based unit/department orientation and education programs for new and existing staff based on individualized learning needs.
  • Serves as a clinical resource, mentor and preceptor for staff and influences the workforce to achieve a high level of performance reflecting the nursing strategic plan, vision and values of the organization.
  • Supports and inspires professional governance groups to attain required nursing excellence standards to maintain Magnet Recognition as outlined by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
