Conducts well planned, organized and relevant competency-based unit/department orientation and education programs for new and existing staff based on individualized learning needs.
Serves as a clinical resource, mentor and preceptor for staff and influences the workforce to achieve a high level of performance reflecting the nursing strategic plan, vision and values of the organization.
Supports and inspires professional governance groups to attain required nursing excellence standards to maintain Magnet Recognition as outlined by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
