  • Employees are responsible for retrieving, assembling, checking, and filing resident charts while ensuring incomplete records are corrected by appropriate personnel.
  • The role requires maintaining registries for admission and discharge, abstracting information for Medicare and Medicaid, and protecting protected health information from unauthorized disclosure.
