Job Summary

  • Act in a deputy capacity to the company's designated Responsible Pharmacist, providing essential support in the execution of all statutory duties.
  • Assist in ensuring all pharmaceutical activities are conducted in strict compliance with the Medicines and Related Substances Act and overarching GXP quality guidelines.
  • Play a key supporting role during regulatory inspections and audits conducted by the South African Pharmacy Health Product Regulatory Authority and other health authorities, including internal audits.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Pharmacy (BPharm) degree
  • Registered Pharmacist with SAPC
  • 0–3 years post-community service experience
  • Hands-on experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or QA
  • Understanding of South African pharmacy legislation
  • Understanding of core GXP principles
