Job Summary

  • This position has responsibility for airplane fuel system requirements definition, system design, coordination of internal and external system interfaces, post-production fleet support, and component and system level certification.
  • The Fuel Systems Lead collaborates closely with cross-functional engineering teams, customer support groups, suppliers, and regulatory agencies, taking ownership as the Responsible Engineer to proactively advance critical safety projects and Service Related Problems (SRPs).

Salary

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in propulsion
  • 9+ years of experience in propulsion or fuel systems design
  • Experience using CATIA/ENOVIA, Model Based Definition, GD&T, or 2-D drawings
  • Experience in fuel systems architecture, requirements, or design
  • Experience working fuel systems repairs
  • Familiarity with Boeing or FAA safety processes
  • Fault Tree Development or FMEA experience
  • Understanding of ODA relationships with FAA
