Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Master's or Ph.D. in Optics or Physics
  • 5+ years silicon photonics IC design experience
  • Advanced proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso and Ansys Lumerical
  • Strong knowledge of passive and active PIC design principles
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and French

Nice-to-have

  • Hands-on experience with DC and RF characterization testing
  • Knowledge of optical communications systems architectures
  • Experience supporting yield improvement initiatives
  • Familiarity with high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments
  • Exposure to reliability testing and qualification methodologies
