Ideal candidates will possess or be working towards a Certificate III or IV in Health – Sterilisation Services, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently
Job Summary
The primary role and responsibility of the Instrument Technician is to ensure the effective and efficient processing of all reusable medical devices within the policy and guidelines of the Sterile Processing Centre and State and National Standards.
All Instrument Technicians are members of the multidisciplinary Sterile Processing Centre team.

Key Requirements
Less than three (3) months experience (full-time equivalent) as an Instrument Technician
Minimum three (3) months experience (full time equivalent) working as an Instrument Technician
Minimum twelve (12) months post qualification experience (full-time equivalent) as an Instrument Technician
Holds an Instrument Technician Qualification
Certificate III in Sterilisation Services (HLT37015)
Certificate IV in Sterilisation Services (HLT47015)
Minimum three years’ experience (full-time equivalent) as an Instrument Technician
