Job Summary

  • Assist in managing hospital capacity operations within the MGH Capacity Coordination Center, acting as a liaison between clinical and administrative staff for timely and appropriate patient placement.
  • Monitor real-time hospital census, ensure accurate admission, discharge, and transfer information in Epic, and facilitate timely transfers to and from intensive care units.
  • Respond to various critical situations including Pre-Code Help, Code Help, and Capacity Disaster situations, providing leadership with detailed information on capacity and bed availability.
