Key Requirements

  • Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO) within 2 years
  • Illinois Firearm Control Card (FCC) within 90 days
  • Stop the Bleed Certification within 1 year
  • Certified in Conducted Energy Weapon (TASER) use within 90 days
  • State of IL 20-hour Basic Security Officer course with pistol endorsement
  • Valid driver's license and ability to pass background/drug screen
  • 1 year of experience in security or public safety
