Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Own and grow groundwater modelling projects
  • Lead client relationships and business development
  • Develop and update conceptual and numerical models
  • Proficient in MODFLOW and other groundwater models
  • Strong understanding of UK hydrogeology framework

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with UK regional groundwater models
  • Coding skills in Python, R, Fortran, VBA
  • Experience with GIS
  • Innovative approaches and digital tools

Key Requirements

  • Degree in science, engineering or mathematics
  • Postgraduate qualification in hydrogeology or related subject
  • Ideally chartered through a relevant professional body
  • Comprehensive experience building, developing and updating groundwater models
  • Proven experience leading projects through the full lifecycle
