Job Summary

  • The Area 7 Coordinator position will serve as a liaison and representative between the NC Division of Emergency Management (NCEM) and NCEM Area 7, identifying and assisting local governments in strengthening disaster mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery capabilities.
  • This position is home-based with limited supervisory oversight and requires a primary response capacity, including routine responses to emergencies and disaster situations statewide or out-of-state.

Key Requirements
