Job Summary

  • Responsible to perform daily Respiratory Care procedures as assigned, which include but are not limited to medication administration via aerosol therapy, oxygen therapy, percussion and postural drainage, noninvasive ventilation, mechanical ventilation, CPR, bedside pulmonary function screening, and arterial blood gases.
  • Manages ventilators for neonatal/pediatrics and adults according to protocol pertinent for each age group (Mechanical and non-invasive ventilation).

Key Requirements

  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) through NBRC
  • Licensed by KY Board of Respiratory Care
  • Maintain active BLS
  • Obtain PALS and NRP within 6 months
  • Obtain RRT within one year
