Job Summary

  • Responsible for developing and growing a pipeline of opportunities for AspenTech products within the mining vertical, including cold calling and prospecting.
  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales quota while liaising with internal departments and providing account updates to management.

Key Requirements

  • Fluent in English / Spanish
  • University technical degree required
  • Engineering discipline degree preferred
  • Experience in Mining
  • Surface and underground mining fundamentals understanding
  • Ability to travel over 50%
  • Previous experience with mining in Latin America
  • Field business development experience
  • Familiarity with predictive & prescriptive maintenance
  • Familiarity with discrete manufacturing engineering
  • Experience with partners in complex sales cycles
  • Proficient at establishing 'C' level relationships
