Job Summary
Assists the Director of Nursing in directing activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel whom provide health care and nursing services to residents on a 24-hour, 7day per week basis.
Works with the DON to recruit, hire and train nursing staff, and assists with employee appraisals and resolving problems including disciplinary action.
Responsible for ensuring resident safety, and ensuring residents are treated with the utmost respect, acting as a liaison between residents, family members and physicians.
