This is a casual/per diem position, hours will be "as needed" with start and end times varying.

Must-have
Process human tissue and body fluid specimens
Perform technical duties related to histopathological slides
Section embedded tissue using microtome
Perform routine and special staining procedures
Operate and maintain manual and automated instruments
Adhere to quality control policies
Nice-to-have
High volume laboratory experience desirable
Strong attention to detail

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science, Medical Technology or meet local regulatory (CLIA & State) requirements
Histology and/or ASCP certifications are preferred
2 years previous experience in histology is highly preferred
Immunohistochemistry experience is a plus
Must be able to pass a standardized color vision screen
