The Pre/Post Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for planning, executing, and evaluating the nursing care provided to the surgical patient during the pre-admission, pre-op and post-op period.
Responsibilities include functioning in pre-admission, pre- and post-operative nursing capacities, planning and evaluating nursing care based on patient needs, and maintaining current clinical competencies.
The role requires flexibility in schedule, willingness to report to work with short notice, and the ability to manage medication, biohazardous materials, and maintain logs.
