Properly identifies patient, draws blood samples and sends to laboratory for analysis.
The Phlebotomist 2 maintains records of tests performed and blood samples taken and may perform waived or moderate complex tests in laboratory setting.
May provide quality training and orientation for assigned employees, informs co-workers of relevant departmental policies and procedures, and allocates tasks to co-workers as needed.
