Must-have

  • Advanced Engineering Apprenticeship mechanical or electrical
  • Solid engineering experience in food manufacturing
  • Mechanical fitting skills and fault finding techniques
  • Ability to work 4 on 4 off shift pattern days and nights
  • Knowledge of CMMS system for spare parts and job logging

Nice-to-have

  • Machining welding and fabrication experience
  • Industrial refrigeration experience
  • IEE 17th or 18th edition qualification
  • Advanced Electrical qualification
  • Good knowledge of PLCs variable speed drives and control systems
  • Ability to mentor colleagues
