Job Summary
This role is part of the Sonos Voice Control team focused on designing the future of AI-based interactions for music control and content discovery.
The successful candidate will design and train state-of-the-art machine learning models for automatic speech recognition and wakeword detection tailored to specialized domains like music entities.
As a hybrid position, this role requires living within commuting distance of the Paris office and being in the office approximately three days per week.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
8+ years experience in voice applications
PhD or Master's degree in computer science
In-depth knowledge of ASR and wakeword detection
Advanced Python and PyTorch proficiency
Experience shipping models to production
Nice-to-have
Real-time low latency streaming ASR experience
Model adaptation techniques for large catalogs
Far-field acoustics and data augmentation expertise
Mentoring team members on ML best practices
Collaboration with embedded engineering teams
Key Requirements
8+ years experience in machine learning research
PhD or Master's degree required
Intermediate knowledge of Rust, C, or C++
