The Assistant Field Officer will assess the needs of persons of concern, formulate project submissions, and promote and monitor the implementation of assistance projects.
The role involves reporting on new arrivals, assisting with reception and registration, and keeping track of detention cases and voluntary repatriation applications.
Incumbents will negotiate with local authorities, manage risks, and perform other related duties as required to support UNHCR's operations.

Key Requirements

UNHCR Operations Management Learning Programme
Field experience
Knowledge of refugee law
Good knowledge of UNHCR's programmes
English and UN working language proficiency
Local language proficiency
