  • The Student Assistant assists in the treatment of patients as needed during the week on a scheduled basis.
  • Duties relating to the routine operation of the rehabilitation department, including departmental cleanliness, maintenance, patient transportation, and clerical and non-patient care tasks may also be responsibilities of the Student Assistant.
  • He/she is a member of the Outpatient Rehab Department and is an important assistive component of the interdisciplinary medical team that strives to return the patient to his/her highest level of functional independence.
