Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program that meets the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
This role involves participating in planning and conducting individual, small and large group activities, as well as assisting with communication between employees, residents, families, and external agencies.
The position requires assisting in development of monthly activity schedules, discharge planning, and maintaining documentation while ensuring the Activity Department is clean, orderly, and secured.
