Job Summary

• The SME shall play a proactive and decisive role in selecting the right materials during concept and detailed design, not merely reviewing submissions.
• The SME must be embedded within the design coordination process, participating in design charrettes, technical workshops, and BIM coordination sessions.
• Ensure preservation of design intent during execution by participating in first-of-kind inspections, benchmark installations, and factory inspections.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture / Interior Design / Architectural Engineering
• 12–15 years’ experience
• Experience in Luxury hospitality, High-end residential, Mixed-use mega developments and Giga projects
• Demonstrated experience in Material science for interior applications
• Demonstrated experience in Design-stage engagement
• Demonstrated experience in Construction-stage quality enforcement
• Strong knowledge of Stone & marble systems
• Strong knowledge of Veneer and engineered wood
• Strong knowledge of Bespoke materials/items
• Strong knowledge of Decorative metals
• Strong knowledge of Specialty coatings
• Strong knowledge of Acoustic and fire-rated systems
• Strong knowledge of Adhesive and substrate compatibility
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor (Preferred)
• ASQ-CQE (Preferred)
• LEED or sustainability accreditation (Preferred)
