Key Requirements

  • Trade/Technical/Vocational Diploma
  • Journeyman Plumber [State License] preferred
  • Master Plumber [State License] preferred
  • ASSE 6010 Installer Certified preferred
  • ASME IX Brazer Certification/Medical Gas Brazer preferred
  • Wastewater Treatment Operator [Massachusetts] preferred
  • Completion of a three-year apprentice program in plumbing
  • 1-2 years of formal training
  • 2-3 years of experience required
  • Ability to read and follow blueprints
  • Knowledge of Massachusetts plumbing codes
  • Physical strength to carry tools and equipment
  • Ability to walk throughout the Hospital
