Cedarriverhc is seeking a part-time Cook to manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor. The ideal candidate will have experience in large-scale meal preparation, preferably in a healthcare setting, and must be able to follow menus and ensure food safety

Job Summary

  • It is the responsibility of the cook to manage and operate the kitchen in the absence of the Dietary Supervisor.
  • The cook must maintain the kitchen and cooking area in a safe, orderly, clean and sanitary manner and prepare tasteful meals following menus and portion control guides.
  • The role includes supervising dietary staff during the supervisor's absence and assisting with serving meals while reporting resident care concerns.
