The Health Care Aide provides personal care and performs selected tasks under the direction of their supervisor while adhering to regulatory and Extendicare's standards, policies and procedures.
Key responsibilities include assisting residents with personal care, observing and reporting changes in condition, planning meals, and providing cognitive, social, emotional, and psychological support.

Key Requirements
Graduate of Health Care Aide program
Minimum 500 hours theory & practicum (Ontario & Alberta)
Experience working with seniors
Strong written and oral communication skills
Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
Demonstrated sound skills in providing personal care
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support and First Aid certification recommended
Ability to perform necessary tasks (e.g., lifting/transferring)
