Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 1 year experience in certified childcare center
  • Experience supporting children ages 3-5
  • 240 documented hours as aide I or II
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Proficient in English speaking reading writing

Nice-to-have

  • Bilingual in Somali Arabic Swahili Farsi Spanish
  • Knowledge of Individualized Family Service Plans
  • Willingness to learn new inclusive teaching skills
  • Experience with Creative Curriculum tools

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year childcare experience
  • 240 documented aide hours required
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Current enrollment in Oregon Central Background Registry
