Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program designed to meet the interests and needs of each resident.
Essential duties include participating in planning and conducting activities, maintaining communication, developing activity calendars, and assisting with resident assessments and discharge planning.
The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently and involves standing and walking very frequently, with occasional sitting, reaching, pushing/pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
