This hybrid position requires collaboration with various engineering teams and the development of simulation procedures while supporting the design and validation of battery concepts

Job Summary

  • Perform cell, module and pack level Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) analysis to optimize thermal performance of GM’s Battery Systems under normal and abuse conditions.
  • Conceptualize and develop a wide variety of Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) models to directly impact design and offset hardware testing.
  • This role requires close collaboration with other CAE teams, while providing results and technical consultation to hardware design, development and validation engineers.
