** Kern River Transitional Care is seeking an Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) to support the Director of Nursing in managing nursing staff and ensuring quality resident care. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, have extensive nurse management experience, and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills. **

Job Summary

  • Assists the Director of Nursing in directing activities of licensed and non-licensed personnel whom provide health care and nursing services to residents on a 24-hour, 7day per week basis.
  • Oversees clinical operations, including making daily rounds and monitoring resident conditions, ensuring resident safety, and ensuring residents are treated with the utmost respect.
  • Assists the DON in the design, implementation and evaluation of nursing systems that ensure consistent delivery of care and maintains and promotes resident rights.
