The Specialised Clinical Cardiac Physiologist specialising in Echocardiography and Devices will perform a range of highly specialised cardiac ultrasound investigations, including adult transthoracic, contrast (for left ventricular opacification) and bubble study echocardiograms, 3D echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echocardiograms, assisting with transoesophageal echocardiograms, performing accurate and reproducible measurements and quantification, interpret findings and independently issue final clinically diagnostic reports, to a competent, highly specialised professional standard

Job Summary

  • The Specialised Clinical Cardiac Physiologist specialising in Echocardiography and Devices will perform a range of highly specialised cardiac ultrasound investigations, including adult transthoracic, contrast (for left ventricular opacification) and bubble study echocardiograms, 3D echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echocardiograms, assisting with transoesophageal echocardiograms, performing accurate and reproducible measurements and quantification, interpret findings and independently issue final clinically diagnostic reports, to a competent, highly specialised professional standard.
  • You should be an independent practitioner, able to perform and report resting transthoracic scans and rhythm analysis to permanent (CRM), temporary (Holter), rest (ECG) and exercise (ETT) modalities.
