The Staff Occupational Therapist evaluates and treats residents, communicates with families, physicians and other health team members, and maintains documentation of services in the medical records.
The role includes supervising Occupational Therapy Assistants, conducting in-services and training for facility staff, and participating in Resident Care conferences and Rehabilitation meetings.
Maintaining a safe treatment environment and educating residents, families, and caregivers on treatment goals and safety techniques are essential functions of this position.
