The Brokerage Operations Manager will drive operational efficiencies to bring down costs as well as working with the Carrier Procurement team to expand the Ryder System, Inc carrier network for a given mode, developing our current and future workforce talent, and collaborating with the Sales and Account Management teams to provide the best possible customer experience

Job Summary

  • The Brokerage Operations Manager will drive operational efficiencies to bring down costs as well as working with the Carrier Procurement team to expand the Ryder System, Inc carrier network for a given mode, developing our current and future workforce talent, and collaborating with the Sales and Account Management teams to provide the best possible customer experience.
  • Manage the load volume for each carrier representative to ensure workload is distributed as evenly as possible throughout the team.
  • Building an ever-growing carrier base and relationships to improve capacity and reduce cost of hire as well as make educated decisions on onboarding new carriers.
