Job Summary

  • As the director of underwriting in national accounts, you will help facilitate and foster sound underwriting and business decisions, develop effective relationships, and contribute toward the growth of the underwriting department in an effort to write and retain long term profitable business.
  • Oversee day-to-day production activities of the team; training and developing the underwriters, regular communication between our sales organization as well as other parts of the organization and their team members, and other ad hoc needs.

Key Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in a leadership position
  • 5-7 years of experience in Life, Absence, and Disability underwriting
