Job Summary

  • The Area 7 Coordinator position will serve as a liaison and representative between the NC Division of Emergency Management (NCEM) and NCEM Area 7 consisting of Edgecombe, Harnett, Johnston, Nash, Wake, and Wilson counties.
  • This position will evaluate local government Emergency Management programs, identifying weaknesses related to disaster mitigation, preparedness, response, and recovery.
  • This is a full-time position (40 hours per week) with State Benefits, including paid vacation, paid sick leave, paid holidays, retirement, and health insurance.
