The Senior Director will accelerate an AI-native transformation by embedding AI-assisted development practices and leveraging hands-on experience with Claude via Amazon Bedrock.

Salary
Base: $239,000 – $323,000 (California); Bonus/Equity: Variable compensation including short term and long-term incentives; Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, disability, FSA/HSA, PTO, holidays, 401(k)/RRSP

Must-have
15+ years software engineering experience
5+ years senior engineering leadership
Hands-on LLM deployment with Claude Code
Mobile iOS Android and cloud backend delivery
AI-assisted development transformation experience
Nice-to-have
Master's or PhD in Computer Science
Experience scaling 25-50 engineer organizations
Background in IoT and connected home products
Deep familiarity with HEMS and utility APIs
Strong product strategy and market synthesis skills
Key Requirements
Bachelor of Science in CS, SE, EE, or related field
15+ years progressive software engineering experience
5+ years in Director level or above leadership role
Proven track record deploying AI/LLM applications in production
