Job Summary

• The Lead Administrative Nursing Supervisor supports the Nurse Manager with departmental clinical and administrative operations within The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
• The LANS promotes a healthy work environment for the team while cultivating collaboration, enthusiasm, and mutual respect.
• The LANS is responsible for enforcing hospital and nursing quality in collaboration with the Director of Nursing Quality, and hospital policies and procedures and supporting the professional practice of nursing.

Key Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Baccalaureate degree in nursing required
• Master’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred
• Current license as a registered nurse from the State of Ohio Board of Nursing required
• Prior administrative/leadership and/or management experience
• Professional leadership or clinical certification preferred
• ACLS certification preferred/required after hire
• Strong clinical experience
• Demonstrated skills in communication, conflict management, decision-making, critical thinking, and time management
