Job Summary

  • Identify and help provide solutions for behavior and/or learning issues in order to maximize student achievement.
  • Actively participate as a member of the Child Study Team in evaluating, classifying, recommending and implementing programs and evaluation plans for students in need in English and Spanish as appropriate or required.
  • Consult with parents in English and Spanish concerning counseling/behavioral needs, pre-referral intervention, special class placement, follow-up in the home, and referral to outside agencies for students.
