Job Summary

  • Provide production database application support for Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and Open Source DBs, including build, migration, performance tuning, and incident resolution.
  • Act as a Subject Matter Expert, contributing to database standards, designs, and best practices while working closely with various CIBC Technology groups.
  • Automate manual processes using DevOps tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, and Shell Scripting to enhance operational efficiency.

  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives and priorities
  • Strong decision making and critical thinking skills
