The OpportunityWe are seeking a Asset Manager to join our Asset Management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a real estate professional with a genuine interest in heritage real estate to take ownership of a defined portfolio of conservation shophouses. You will play a hands-on role in driving asset performance, managing tenant relationships, and supporting acquisition and value-enhancement strategies — all while navigating the unique regulatory and physical considerations that come with conserved properties. This role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to develop a well-rounded skill set across asset management, leasing, capital expenditure planning, and stakeholder engagement. Key ResponsibilitiesAsset & Portfolio ManagementManage and oversee the day-to-day asset management of an assigned portfolio of conservation shophouses, ensuring optimal occupancy, rental income, and net asset value. Develop and execute annual asset plans and budgets, including income projections, operating expense management, and capital expenditure forecasting. Monitor portfolio performance against key KPIs (yield-on-cost, occupancy rate, rental reversion, WALE, NOI, etc.) and prepare regular performance reports for senior management. Identify and implement asset enhancement initiatives (AEIs) to improve returns while respecting conservation guidelines.
