  • PhD or equivalent Doctoral qualification
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate large courses
  • Demonstrated ability to support student issues
  • Emerging nationally recognised research track record
  • Extensive experience in research leadership
  • Extensive experience in supervising higher degrees by research
  • Demonstrated ability to manage academic program team
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial, governance and quality management systems
  • Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, communication and negotiating skills
  • Ability to work with external partners
  • Ability to motivate, influence, develop and inspire others
  • IELTS (Academic) with a score of at least 7.0 or equivalent
