Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Administering vaccinations and injections
Performing phlebotomies and EKGs
Taking vital signs and documenting symptoms
Coordinating patient referrals and authorizations
Maintaining clean exam rooms and equipment
Nice-to-have
Team-oriented mentality with high motivation
Willingness to cross train in multiple areas
Experience with EMR and scheduling software
Knowledge of insurance managed care operations
Key Requirements
Active Medical Assistant Certification (RMA, CMA, CCMA, or NCMA)
