PATH is seeking a TES Consultant for the REACH Malaria program in Burundi to provide technical, operational, and logistical support for a therapeutic efficacy study of antimalarial drugs. The ideal candidate should have a medical, pharmaceutical, or public health background, with a strong understanding of malaria treatment policies and experience in conducting similar studies

Job Summary

  • The consultant will provide support for the technical, operational, and logistical coordination of a therapeutic efficacy study of first and second-line antimalarial drugs for the National Malaria Control Program (PNLP) in Burundi.
  • The consultant will be responsible for the technical and operational coordination of the study, including supervision of implementation and adherence to the protocol; providing clinical and methodological expertise; supporting quality assurance and laboratory supervision; and assisting with data analysis and dissemination of results.
  • REACH Malaria is a flagship program of the U.S. Department of State (DoS) providing implementation support and technical assistance to countries for malaria control service delivery in health facilities and at the community level.
