Job Summary

  • The aim of Advanced training in Rehabilitation Medicine is to gain learning and experience in general and specialised terms, utilising evidenced based rehabilitation medicine principles, with the goal to progress through the AFRM Training program towards obtaining Fellowship.
  • The Advanced Trainee is to perform comprehensive rehabilitation assessments, make treatment decisions, perform procedures, maintain adequate medical records, and develop expertise in medical practice in a complex clinical environment.
  • Close supervision and liaison with consultants will allow the Advanced Trainee to demonstrate their level of ability and understanding of patient care and enable individual expansion of clinical responsibility.
