Must-have

  • Excellent core Java skills
  • Extensive Java Application optimization experience
  • Exceptional concurrency and multithreaded programming knowledge
  • Experience developing low latency pricing and trading systems
  • Knowledge of low latency messaging protocols like Aeron
  • Solid understanding of networking fundamentals TCP UDP multicast
  • Familiarity with Linux internals scheduling and memory management

Nice-to-have

  • eFX development experience in zero GC environment
  • Knowledge of institutional encodings FIX SBE
  • Fault tolerant high availability distributed computing experience
  • Docker Kubernetes AWS cloud infrastructure familiarity
  • Ability to leverage AI tools for productivity improvement

Key Requirements

  • Extensive experience of Java Garbage Collection optimization
  • Low latency messaging experience such as 29West or Aeron
  • Kernel bypass technologies knowledge including DPDK or RDMA
