  • The pharmacy residency is a 12-month experience designed to expand upon academic experiences in an integrated health care facility and to provide further opportunity for knowledge base development and expertise in the provision of pharmaceutical care by completing rotations through a variety of clinical areas.
  • Residents will play an integral role in the implementation of inpatient and outpatient protocol development, formulary management, system wide program implementation, and understanding the impact of managed care on the community.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelors Level Degree in Pharmacy
  • Doctorate Level Degree in Pharmacy preferred
  • BLS certification within six months of hire
  • Virginia pharmacist license within 90 days of hire
  • New graduates and relocating pharmacists considered

Work Rights
