Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program that meets the interests and physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of each resident.
This role involves participating in planning and conducting individual, small and large group activities while ensuring good communication among employees, residents, families, and external agencies.
The Activity Assistant also supports quality assurance efforts, assists with discharge planning, and helps arrange transportation for residents as needed.
